Well, it is generally true that young designers, although very talented, may struggle to showcase their pieces and find retailers. The city of Mexico solved this problem last week end, allowing designers to exhibit their work in containers, yes, the same ones we, expats, use to move our belongings from one side of the globe to the other, and the result was amazing. Hundreds of people came to discover and buy artwork from new talents or more recognised one such as Tom Dixon.
